Regular Membership

Any person who fulfills the requirements here below, pursuant to the charter, shall be registered as a regular member of the Scholars Council assembly.

• Age 18 and above
• An Ethiopian citizen
• S/he who accepts the objectives and membership directives of the Scholars Council and willing to contribute professionally
• Whose permanent residence is in Ethiopia
• At least a Master Degree in her/his field of study
• Any person who has a recognized professional competence acquired through non-formal or informal means can be a member when the board accepts membership request

Membership Fee: 600 ETB Annually

Associate Membership

Any person who is not an Ethiopian, not residing in Ethiopia and not a regular member can be an associate member of the scholars’ council assembly if he fulfills the following criteria:

• Age 18 and above
• S/he who accepts the objectives and membership directives of the Scholars Council and willing to contribute professionally
• At least who has a Master Degree in her/his field of study
•  Pay the annual membership fee

Membership Fee: 2,400 ETB Annually

Honorary Membership

Any person or organization who is not a regular or associate member and would like to contribute to the Council’s objectives can join as an Honorary member. However, the Honorary member should have a successful and recognized work. Membership is granted based on the Council’s board approval.

Membership Fee: 100,000 ETB Annually
