The main aim of the Finance and Economy cluster is to support the social and economic development of the region through various kinds of capacity development interventions such as specialized training’s, research undertakings, consultancy works, and policy advice. The Cluster works closely with all stakeholders involved in the region’s social and economic development including but not limited to regional and federal level policy makers, private sector operators, civil society actors as well as the academic community. As the issue of economic development is a cross cutting issue, the Finance and Economy cluster is collaborating with several bureaus in the region such as the regional Plan and Development Commission, the Bureau of Finance, the Revenue Authority, etc.
